JON OLIVA'S PAIN Guitarist To Release Solo CD

JON OLIVA'S PAIN guitarist Matt LaPorte will release his solo album, entitled "Once Again...With Feeling", next week. The price of the CD is $15 for orders in the U.S. and $17 for overseas (includes shipping/handling).

JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the solo project of SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, will begin the first leg of its European tour on March 31 at the prestigious ProgPower UK Festival. The band will then return to Europe for the summer festival season and will play many all-acoustic dates between festival appearances. These shows will allow fans to "get a unique experience of SAVATAGE/JOP music and an intimate 'storyteller' environment as Oliva shares memories and stories about the history of SAVATAGE, his relationship with his late brother Criss and plenty of humorous moments from his 25-year career," according to a press release. U.S. tour dates for early 2007 are currently under consideration and the band hopes to announce shows very soon.
